Veszprém is known as the city of queens. The Cathedral of Saint Michael in the Castle of Veszprém was built to the request of Saint Stephen’s (Hungary’s first king) wife, Gisella. Since then, the current Queen of Hungary became the gracious lady of the cathedral. Besides of that, traditionally the bishop of Veszprém crowned the Hungarian queens. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
